It's all about love

We have just celebrated Easter. Christ died for us, it must be the ultimate love - to emerge in the service of others, even though it's difficult.

Life often takes a detour, and I think it's up to us to embrace the new opportunities to grow, learn and love.

Life is not always easy, but I have learned that with focus on each other, space to grow - love grows even stronger day by day.

He's the love of my life.

Easter - Good Friday!

Clik here Easter message

Matthew 26:57–75, Jesus Christ on trial

Today is Good Friday . Because Christ suffered for our sins , it brought hope for all, of a life with Christ - and justice on Judgment Day for all. He is the great judge who judges righteously. This right he erned, when he suffered and died for us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a small garden while outside my kitchen window . I went out early this morning at 6:15 , and racked it really well. In my little piece there's rhubarb and Jerusalem artichoke . The Jerusalem artichoke was set 5 years ago , it was abt. Dkr 15. It is about $ 2. I'm still reaping from those Jerusalem artichoke . It is fantastic! God's creation is incredible, a little vegetable can multiply for several years
This is the Jerusalem artichokes I got out of the small piece of land in front of the tile on which they lie - up until in front of the big stone.
Cards I make last night.
The little book, a Pixibook, is attached with scoretape on the back of the card.
This is a christmas card for a child. The pixi book is full of Danish christmas songs for children.
some thoughts abt. life!
Time fly by so fast . There is so much I want to do and so little time to do it . Like everything in life , it's about choosing what is important - and leave the rest behind. This applies to everything physically , spiritually and mentally. It is difficult, it requires discipline, but it helps. I clear my desk every night. I've thought a lot about why I do it. Even if I'm working on projects, I clean it up completely. I think it is because of the many sudden operations I went through last year. I did not know what was going to happen in 10 min. I had to be prepare for anythinh and everything. Having said that, I did not want my family to be left to sort out all mig stuff...
This became my guideline last year - and I still follow it: Be grateful for your testimony of a Heavenly Father who loves His children. Be grateful for our Savior and Redeemer , Jesus Christ. Appreciate your family and friends. Choose to live life as if it was your last - live life to the fullest . Appreciate what you can and do not dwell so much on what you can't do anything about right now (that part is still difficult)
Here is a before / after picture of my desk + some cards I have made.
Warm weather, freezer and tissue paper!
I think spring is on it's way. It has been warm outside to day. It was lovely, as I had to make a trip down town to a meeting. I'm so blessed that my children will help each other out. I got a pain attach during the meeting, so I called my son who came and picked me up. My daughters stayed and finished the meeting.
A family came and picked up our freezer. We're glad to give it away to someone else.
Do you know how many tissues there can be in a box? My 10 month old grandson don't know - and yesterday he wanted to find out!
I've finished some cards to day. I made 2 more cards with the snowflake in the middle of the card, a little giftcard and a regular card.
The card sayes: It is your day to day.
120 Trøffelkugler and come cards!
We all had a great and funny day yesterday. Our youngest daughter Grethe came early in the morning wtih our grandson Mads. They stayed until midt afternoon - what a delight.I love how close I am with my daughter. I wish, I had been that with my own mom. Perhaps that is why I appreciate our relationship so much. Yesterday made me think, how much we can miss out on, due to differences, hurt feelings and misunderstanding.Mads had some kitchen time with me. I made these trøffelkugler, 120 of them. They are in the freezer now, ready whenever I need them.
Yesterday I also found time to make some cards.
I made the background using "Flowering field" from Stampin' Up!.The text is also from Stampin' Up!
A card made from a stamp from Heartfelt creation.
The snowflake is also from Heartfelt Creation.I can't remember the compagny where the centiment came from.The snowflake is hanging loose in a string. I have not desiede wether or not there should be a background or not! Here, as you can see, there is. But if I make more, I'll ask Charlie Johansen from Operation skriv hjem
So, here's the cards for today. Take care and have a great day.
How abt. doing some indexing?
Nothing much happend to day. I spend a little time with my daughter, son-in-law and little grandson.
They are such a great, happy little family. When I'm with them, everything seems a little brighter - as everything is all righ.
Beside that, I've made two cards and done some indexing. Everyone can participate in this project.. It's a great thing to know, that information will be avalible for all. It will be so much easier to do genealogical research in the furture.
Just in time!
I just made it in time! It is 23:30 here in Denmark. It would not look good if my challenge: "Make a card every day for a month" - didn't make it for a week!!!!!
It has been a busy day. Our oldest daughter moved to a new apartment. We hope she will be happy there. We're so grateful to all those who came to help - we would not have been able to make it in time without your help. Note: We asked for help last night, and beside our family, 5 people from church came to help out! Such caring, kind and loving people!
Here's my cards for to day.
I'm still trying to find new ways to use my stampset: "Wetland"
from Stampin' Up! I think these stamps make good cards for men.
The sun is setting!
The sun is setting over another day. How did we spent the day? Are we satisfied with what we made in the hours we got?
I would like to share some thoughts with you. I have pondered over it for a while.
Emagine 2 houses.
When you enter the first home, there's a mess everywhere.
When you enter the 2nd home, everything is in its place.
Which home do you think of as cleaned up?
Now, imagine the same 2 houses.
If you open the cabinets and drawers , in the first home, everything is in place.
If you do the same in the 2nd home, everything will fall out. On the surface it looked good , but when you dug a little, it wasn't as good as you thought.
In the first home, all the mess you saw - was the mess that there was.
Which house was really cleaned up?
Are we humans the same way ? Do we put a mask on, and " pretend" there is order in our lives, even if there's not. Do we hide our "mess" in cupboards and drawers - or dare we show who we really are?
I just wonder how the world would be, if we all dared to be honest, open and caring.
Here's my cards for today.
Birthday in the family.
My son-in-law turned 25 years yesterday. We feel so blest that he is a part of our family. He is kind, a great husbond and father, he has compation and loves everyone. Thank you Aske, Happy Birthday, and may God always bless you for your big heart.
I've made 3 card boxes and a total of 15 cards (5 for each box)! But I can't show them yet. They are for those who helped us yesterday. But this one I can show.
. This is the birthday card I made for Aske. He is a Arsenal fan!
Are there angels amongst us?
Yesterday was a great blessing for our ur family. Friends from church came and packed our daughter's apartment down . She moves into sheltered accommodation . She realized that it was impossible for her to live alone , without help. She has ADHD and autism .Because of my illness , promised the municipality that the help which Kamilla had right now , would help sort and pack . her belongings . Now do we find out that it has not done so.Thanks for all the help , now it's manageable to do the rest.
Do I believe their are angels among us? Yes, and 4 angels came yesterday: Jane, Ellen Karla og Grethe. I truely believe we can be eachothers angels.
A different type of Christmas card.
The banner says:
I rejoice in this time, now the Christmas snow are falling white. Then I know for sure, that Christmas is coming.
A new challenge!
We could not go to church this Sunday - Lars is not feeling well, and I had a pain attack this morning. Oh, how I miss going to church. The week does not feel right when we're not going. I hope we'll soon be able to go every Sunday again.
I've giving myself a challenge: Make a card every day for a month! So, with that said, these are my cards for today.
A Mo Manning digi stamp. I just love Mo Mannings drawings.
 This is yet again, a card usmade from the "Wetlands" stamp set from Stampin Up!
Flu, cold and new cards!
Oh boy - both my husbond and I 've got the flu - again. Not fun at all.
Despite the flu, I tried to make another Christmas card, but I wanted to make it as a CAS (Clean and Simple) card.
It was difficult, and so this is the result!
I also made 2 gift tags with 3 small butterflies, from scraps I had from yesterday.
